  • Food metaphors in hymnography

  • Fast and feast in church music and hymnography

  • Related questions dealing with Eastern traditions of a liturgical or paraliturgical kind, for example, the kolyva used at memorials for the departed, the Holy Supper served in some traditions at Christmas, artoklasia (litiya), Paschal Artos, the blessing of fruits, and Vasilopita

  • The understanding of the nourishment provided by food and drink as parallel to that provided by the composition or intoning of spiritual/liturgical texts
