The organisers of the
MEDIEVAL AND RENAISSANCE MUSIC CONFERENCE 2008
Bangor, Wales, 24-27 July 2008
would like to announce their intention to make available a number of bursaries for postgraduate students (up to 150 pounds p.p.) and for participants from Central and Eastern Europe (up to 200 pounds p.p.).
The bursaries are contingent upon the submission and acceptance of a paper to be presented at the conference and are intended to cover travel and accomodations costs.
Subject to successful application for funding, it is intended to grant up to 15-20 bursaries in each of the two categories.
Applicants for bursaries are asked to submit an abstract for a conference paper and an informal application for a bursary by 8 January 2008
We apologise for the short notice, but we have to meet application deadlines for external funding for these bursaries. Notification of success will be in late March.
